Kosher weddings

Glatt kosher. Glatt simple.

A certified kosher kitchen, a Shabbos elevator, a Shabbat-observant floor, and the largest kosher-capable ballroom in the New York metro outside of Manhattan.

The certification

World of Blue's kosher kitchen is fully certified for glatt kosher, Cholov Yisroel, and Pas Yisroel events. We coordinate certification with the rabbi or kashrut authority of your choice — common partners include the OU, Star-K, OK, Kof-K, and the Vaad of the local Bergen County rabbinate.

Our culinary team has built and run kosher kitchens at scale for years. The certification is the floor, not the ceiling — the food is held to the same culinary standard as the rest of CrossBar's menu.

Shabbos-friendly accommodations

Shabbos elevator: a dedicated elevator on the Shabbat-observant floor operates Friday sundown through Saturday sundown, automatically stopping on every level so guests don't have to press buttons.

Shabbat-observant floor: rooms on this floor are configured for the laws of Shabbat — mezuzah-touch key entry (no electronic swipe), in-room hot plates with pre-set timers, lights and air conditioning on pre-set timers, blinds in a locked open or closed position.

Shabbat meals: our culinary team prepares kosher meals for guests staying through Shabbat. Meals are delivered pre-Shabbat and served at the appropriate times. Wine and challah included.

The venue, for a Jewish wedding

The Horizon Ballroom seats up to 1,200 for a plated dinner — large enough for the most expansive Jewish wedding without the room feeling sparse. The ballroom is square-shaped with no obstructing columns, which keeps the dance floor central and visible from every table. 21-foot ceilings handle a tall chuppah without crowding the ceiling lighting grid.

For ceremony-and-reception in the same room, we routinely flip the Horizon between sets in under 90 minutes (with the wedding party at cocktail hour and the bedeken / yichud rooms staged elsewhere on the floor). For separate ceremony and reception spaces, the Skyline Ballroom or the rooftop terrace works for ceremony with the Horizon for reception.

Mechitza partitions, separate dancing arrangements, and dual-side bar setups are part of the planning template, not bespoke add-ons.

Rooms for the wedding weekend

Wedding-block rates on all 427 rooms. Most kosher weddings fill 40–120 rooms; we routinely accommodate full property buyouts of 150+ rooms when families want the whole hotel private through Shabbat.

The Shabbat-observant floor accommodates up to 50 rooms; if your guest count exceeds that, additional rooms can be configured Shabbat-observant on request.
