The agreement between you and World of Blue when you book a room or host an event.
Room reservations
Room rates are quoted and charged in U.S. dollars. New Jersey taxes (6.625% sales tax + 5% state occupancy fee + 3% municipal occupancy tax = 14.625% combined on lodging) are itemized on every receipt.
Cancellation: direct bookings made through theworldofblue.com may be cancelled penalty-free up to 48 hours prior to the scheduled check-in time. Inside 48 hours, the first night is charged.
No-show: failure to arrive on the scheduled check-in date without prior notice forfeits the first night. Subsequent nights are released unless held with a confirmed late-arrival note.
Smoking and pets: non-smoking property. Smoking in a guest room incurs a $250 cleaning fee. Pet policy on request — call the front desk.
Parking
On-property parking is available to registered guests and billed as a nightly resort fee at the rate posted on our parking and transit page. Availability is not guaranteed and spaces are not held in advance.
If you park a vehicle on the property, you waive and release World of Blue, the property owner, and their employees and agents from liability for any damage to, loss of, or theft from your vehicle or its contents, to the fullest extent permitted by law. You park at your own risk. This applies whether the vehicle is self-parked or handed to valet, and no bailment is created by accepting keys.
Previously purchased parking passes: passes bought through this site for a specific event date remain single-use, non-transferable, and valid only for the date and vehicle selected. Sharing, reselling, or duplicating a pass voids it and forfeits entry without refund; plate verification at the gate is final. Those sales are final once the pass is issued, except where the underlying event was cancelled by its organizer, in which case the parking fee is refundable to the original payment method within 14 business days. Orders placed before these terms were last updated continue to be governed by the terms in effect on the date of purchase.
Event contracts
Weddings, corporate events, galas, bar/bat mitzvahs, and other private functions are governed by a separate event agreement signed at the time of booking. Deposits, payment milestones, food-and-beverage minimums, and cancellation policies are spelled out in that contract.
This terms page does not replace the event agreement. In any conflict, the signed event contract controls.
General
Governing law: these terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Bergen County, NJ.
Changes: we may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page; continued use of the site or services after a change constitutes acceptance.
