Welcoming all guests

Accessibility statement

World of Blue is committed to making both its property and its website usable by every guest — including those who navigate using assistive technology or who require accessible accommodations on-property.

Our standard

We target the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA for theworldofblue.com. We audit the site with automated tools (axe-core) on every release and run periodic manual reviews with keyboard-only and screen-reader testing.

If you encounter a barrier on the website — anything you can't use with your assistive technology — please email hello@theworldofblue.com with "Accessibility" in the subject line. We respond within two business days and aim to resolve the issue or provide an accessible alternative within 10 business days.

Accessible rooms on property

World of Blue offers ADA-accessible guest rooms with the following features (specific features vary by room — please request the configuration that works for you when you book):

  • Roll-in showers with grab bars and fold-down seats
  • Accessible bathtubs with grab bars (in select rooms)
  • Visual fire alarms and door-knock notifications
  • TTY-capable phones on request
  • Lowered closet rods and accessible vanities
  • Wider doorways throughout (32" minimum clear)
  • Mobility-accessible routes from the parking lot through to the room
  • Service animals welcome (no fees, no restrictions)
  • Refrigerator for medication storage on request, no charge

To request an accessible room or discuss specific needs, call the reservations line at (201) 896-0500 or email bookings@theworldofblue.com. Our accessibility coordinator will follow up directly to confirm specifics and block the right room.

On-property accessibility

The lobby, restaurants, all event spaces (Horizon Ballroom, Skyline Ballroom, breakouts), the indoor pool deck, the fitness center, and the parking garage are all wheelchair-accessible. Elevators serve every floor. The Shabbat-observant floor includes a Shabbos elevator that stops automatically on each level Friday at sundown through Saturday at sundown.

Designated accessible parking spaces are available adjacent to the main entrance. Valet staff are trained to assist with mobility devices, oxygen tanks, and service animals.

Sign-language interpretation for events can be arranged on request through the events team — please provide at least 14 days' notice. Captioning is available on in-room televisions.

Match-day accessibility

On FIFA World Cup 2026 match days, accessible drop-off and valet routing remains operational throughout the property. The standard shuttle to the American Dream walkway entrance is wheelchair-accessible; please indicate your needs at booking so we have the right vehicle assigned. The covered pedestrian walkway between American Dream and MetLife Stadium is fully ADA-compliant.

For VIP shuttle (VAAP) seats, accessibility accommodations are subject to the host committee's vehicle access permit — call concierge to confirm before booking.
