Logistics

Parking, transit, and how to get around.

Everything from where to park your car to where to catch the train. Designed for guests who'd rather plan than improvise.

On-property parking

World of Blue has on-property parking adjacent to the main entrance. Hotel-guest parking is $28/night as a resort fee and includes complimentary round-trip shuttle service to MetLife Stadium for all events (NFL games, concerts, shows). FIFA World Cup match-day parking has separate per-match pricing — see parking for details.

Valet service operates 24/7. EV charging is available on multiple levels — Tesla destination chargers plus J1772 universal. Valet attendants can plug your vehicle in on request.

NJ Transit + Amtrak

Secaucus Junction is 6 miles away (10-minute drive). Concierge can arrange a $20–25 Uber. From Secaucus you can reach:

  • Penn Station New York — 9 minutes, NJ Transit Northeast Corridor / Midtown Direct
  • Newark Penn Station — 7 minutes, NJ Transit
  • MetLife Stadium — 4 minutes, NJ Transit Meadowlands line (event days only)
  • Washington DC, Philadelphia, Boston — Amtrak Northeast Corridor service

NJ Transit trains run roughly every 15 minutes during weekday peak; every 30 minutes off-peak. Tickets via the NJ Transit app or vending machines on the platform.

Rideshare

Uber and Lyft work at the property as expected. The standard pickup zone is at the main entrance (porte cochère). On match days that zone is staffed and dedicated; non-match days it's first-come.

Estimated rideshare costs (off-peak):

  • To Newark Liberty Airport (EWR): $35–55
  • To Midtown Manhattan: $40–70
  • To Secaucus Junction: $20–25
  • To American Dream: free (walk it via the covered walkway)

On stadium event days, surge pricing typically spikes 1.5–3x in the 2 hours after the final whistle. Plan accordingly or use the property shuttle.

Property shuttles

The match-day shuttle to the American Dream pedestrian entrance (and onward to MetLife Stadium via the covered walkway) runs starting 3 hours before kickoff through 1 hour after the final whistle. Direct-booked hotel guests get 2 shuttle seats free; additional seats are $100. Non-hotel guests can buy seats at $150/seat or $75/seat for guests staying at the property who booked via a third-party platform (verification required).

A VIP shuttle (Vehicle Access Permit) drives inside the MetLife perimeter — $450/seat, very limited.

Bikes, scooters, and walking

The Meadowlands corridor was not built with pedestrians in mind. Walking from the property to MetLife Stadium is NOT recommended — there's no safe pedestrian route across the highways. The covered pedestrian walkway to American Dream (and beyond into MetLife) is the only safe path; it's flat, lit, and ADA-compliant. Allow 5–7 minutes each way.

Bike racks are available at the main entrance. No bike share station on property.
