The big party, in the right hands.
Bar mitzvahs, bat mitzvahs, and b-mitzvahs from intimate 80-guest gatherings through 400+ guest productions. Kosher catering on request, hotel rooms for out-of-town family, and an events team that's done this hundreds of times.
Spaces
The Skyline Ballroom (up to 600 plated, but typically configured for 250–400 at a b-mitzvah) is the most-requested space — dramatic stadium-side windows, dance floor central, room for a band and a DJ. For larger events, the Horizon Ballroom seats up to 1,200.
For smaller intimate events (80–150 guests), the Skyline can be partitioned, OR the rooftop terrace can be tented and heated for a memorable outdoor option.
Catering — kosher and beyond
Fully certified glatt kosher kitchen available on request. We routinely coordinate with the OU, Star-K, OK, Kof-K, and local Bergen County kashrut authorities. For non-kosher events, our culinary team builds menus from the same kitchen that runs CrossBar — modern American, plus the option to layer in family-tradition dishes.
Kids' menus available as a default. Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free dietary accommodations across all events.
The production
Theatrical lighting grids in both ballrooms handle the most ambitious DJ + dancer + live-band productions. Color-changing wash, gobos with the b-mitzvah honoree's name, programmable cues, and full sound system support.
Common production add-ons we've coordinated: photo booths, live event painters, caricature artists, casino-night setups, hookah lounges (for older sibling celebrations), late-night bar mitzvah after-parties in our Speakeasy bar.
Rooms for the weekend
Many b-mitzvahs draw out-of-town family. Group rates on rooms across the 427-room property. For families wanting full privacy, we routinely buy out a floor (~25 rooms) or the entire property (150+ rooms) for the weekend.
The Shabbat-observant floor accommodates families who keep Shabbat, including a Shabbos elevator Friday sundown through Saturday sundown.
